History

The tour was announced by SM Entertainment in November 2009.[2] The tickets for the tour went on sale on November 19[2], and they were sold out in 3 minutes.[3]

We are happy and nervous to bring you our first solo concert.

We will practice hard to give you a memorable and charismatic performance.[2][4]

The tour initially consisted of two Korean shows on December 19 and 20, 2009.[4] It was later announced that the group would have two "Encore" shows for February 27 and 28, 2010.[5] The Encore concert from February 27/28, 2010 was different from their concert last December in terms of set list.[6]

Their next concert, originally scheduled for July 24, 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand, has been postponed indefinitely due to the Thailand political situation.

The live album Into the New World was recorded for this concert tour, and was released on December 30, 2010 in South Korea.
